I was, as all men know, a thief, a liar, an occasional murderer, an outrageous braggart, and a man devoid of even the slightest hint of honor. The past is a ghost that haunts you from the moment it exists until the moment you don't. And you can be sure, your sins will find you out. And they did, the night of the attack.
The vampires took my sight, my speach, my hearing, my soul, left me with life in hell. Now I will take any curse, I will pay any price, if only I can have my revenge. I shall become what the vampires fear the most.
Finnaly there is a chance for the evil in me to raise the decapitated head of my fallen enemy above me, its hot blood spattering over my head and shoulders. One day their world is going to burn and it will be me who put it on fire.
